D Experience : 3-5 Years Functional Area : Sales, Business Development Location : Hyderabad Department : Medicinal Chemistry and Process Research & Development Reporting To : Senior Sales & Marketing head for Europe Work location : Continental Europe Minimum requirements (preferred education and experience level) Degrees in Chemistry, preferably with MBA with relevant experience of working as a sales person. Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in sales of Medicinal Chemistry & Process Research and Development. Experience of selling Medicinal Chemistry & Process Research and Development services for Indian organisations would be an advantage. Must be authorized to work in Europe and must have a valid driver’s license. Major accountabilities: Meet sales and revenue targets Develop client base and viable pipeline Develop strategic plan for business development for expanding client base Develop an annual business plan for each existing and new strategic account. This plan will outlay a strategy for further developing business from each account. Interact and coordinate with the strategic business heads of relevant departments for development of business Maintain up-to-date and accurate records within the salesforce.com Obtain feedback from clients, monitor and update the progress Participate in weekly updates to management and the business development team of new activities, with urgent and important issues being shared with management as they arise Lead on all request for proposal (RFP) / request for quotes (RFQ) / request for information (RFI) from potential clients Actively participates in professional meetings and conventions as appropriate Desired qualification: Graduate or Post Graduate in Chemistry with an MBA, Ph.D degrees preferred Strong skills in microsoft office suite (word, excel, power point), email, and voice mail are required effective presentation, documentation, and interpersonal skills with a strong team-oriented approach The ability to perform several tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines is necessary About us : The exponential increase in the number of targets has created vast opportunities and even greater challenges.
