Sales Manager position in India

Location: India

Positions open in Bangalore and Chennai.

Sales Territory : India , Europe, Asia Pacific (excluding Japan )

Position Overview:
•  Sales candidates will be involved with selling Electronic Design Services in any and all of the    following areas: IC Development (ASIC, FPGA), Hardware (board design, pcb design), and    Embedded Software (Linux, device drivers…).

•  Selling and licensing of GDA's Silicon Intellectual Property (SIP) portfolio.

Highly Desired:
•  Candidates that already have sales contacts with high-tech companies in the above locations,     including semiconductor, industrial, bio-tech and medical.

•  Candidates that have Sales or Field Applications Engineering background with Semiconductor or    distributor companies.

•  Candidates that have experience selling Design Services in any or all of the following: IC    development (ASICs, FPGA), Hardware (board design, pcb design),

•  Candidates that have experience selling EDA tools

Responsibilities:
•  Prospect, qualify, and close business within assigned territory

•  Achieve annual sales quota through growth in assigned territory by effectively selling company    products and services.

•  Develop long-term relationships with high-tech companies

•  Effectively coordinate pre-sales activities with GDA Chennai & US engineering teams.

•  Develop customer proposals; sales reports and forecasts for Sales management

•  Set up high-level meetings between GDA management and customer to facilitate building of     long - term relationship

•  Liaison between GDA US Marketing and PR efforts and corresponding India activities.

•  Assist with trade show participation in India .

Qualifications:
•  High-energy, self-motivated with proven ability to hunt, qualify, close business—both small & large    deals.

•  Self starter, can work independently and with internal Delivery teams

•  Must have reasonable technical background

•  Technical Degree or equivalent technical sales experience preferred.

•  Excellent follow-up and organizational skills

•  Excellent communication and presentation skills

•  Experience working with longer sales cycles

•  Consultative approach

•  Ability to maintain accounts once business is established

Compensation: Base + Commission, reasonable expense account, GDA Company benefits which include 401K, medical, paid vacation.

Travel: As needed within the territory and to USA for quarterly business review meetings.
