NOTIFICATION

NO: G1 / 4241 / 2010                            DATED: 31.05.2010.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for engaging on Contract basis for the posts of Lecturers in Engineering and Non-Engineering subjects in newly established Government Polytechnics in the state.

1	Lecturer in Engineering	1st Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
2	Lecturer in Non-Engineering  (Science and Humanities)	1st Class Masters Degree in Science  and Humanities

2.       Candidates Possessing I Class MCA Qualifications will be considered for the posts of Lecturer / Computer Engineering to the extent felt short of Candidates with I Class B.Tech in Computer Engineering.

3. Relaxation of 5 % in marks is, however, available for SC and ST candidates.

4.       Remuneration Payable: Consolidated amount of Rs. 10,000/- per mensum  except the Polytechnics located at Paderu, Narsipatnam, Eethamukkala, Madanapally, Srisailam, Badrachalam, Bellampally and Adilabad and  in these polytechnics the  consolidated amount  is  Rs.11,000/- per mensum.

5.       Applications in the format which is available in the website of the Department shall be sent to the Regional Joint Directors of Technical Education concerned so as to reach them on or before 15.6.2010. Applications received in any form other than the format prescribed will summarily be rejected without any correspondence thereof.

Applications in the above Proforma shall be sent to the Regional Joint Directors of Technical Education Concerned, so as to reach them on or before 12.06.2010. Applications can be handed over in person also at the offices of Regional Joint Directors concerned.

QUALIFICATIONS

1	Lecturers in Civil / Electrical & Electronics / Electronics & Communication /  Mechanical          Computer /Automobile /   Textile / Information  Technology	:	1st  Class Bachelor’s Degree  in the appropriate   branch of  Engineering / Technology
2	Lecturer in Maths / English / Physics / Chemistry	:	1st Class  Post-Graduate Degree in the subject concerned

 

TENURE:

 

The contract appointments shall be made for a tenure not exceeding (09) months ordinarily from 16^thJune of the year to 15^th March of the succeeding year. Under no circumstances shall be individual be given any further extension beyond a maximum period of 3 years.
