Job Title: Senior System Engineer

Description:
The Senior System Engineer, Embedded Systems will be responsible for design and development of systems software features for 2Wire's market leading Gateway product line. The Senior System Engineer will play important role in design and development of network protocol stacks and Gateway/Network management applications.
Responsibilities:
* Participation in Code and Design reviews
* Developing robust, modular and optimized designs and code
* Debugging, troubleshooting and fixing field issues and provide post delivery support for existing and new products
Qualifications:
* BS/BE in EE, CS, CE or equivalent
* 5+ years of experience in Networking and/or embedded systems design and development
* Knowledge of C language
* Good understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms
* Good understanding of network protocols
* Good understanding of embedded system programming concepts
* Knowledge of XML, HTML, and scripting languages (shell/perl) Makefiles is added advantage
* Experience in Configuration management. Must know at least one of the CM tool [ex. Perforce, CVS, Clear case]
* Hands on experience in bug tracking tools such as bugzilla, JIRA etc.
* Good Knowledge of Software engineering practices
* Good Team player
* Strong analytical and logical reasoning
* Good verbal and written English communication skills
